Meet The Owner

Aidan Heap has been building community in New Orleans for the last five years, focused on vintage, streetwear, and good times. The 90s Kid's Closet storefront and its curated market events have become a staple in the city and a hub full of young creatives. They not only provide a platform for local vendors and emerging brands, but also a solid excuse for people to get outside, socialize, and have fun. This energy has made 90s Kid's Closet a hotspot for local athletes and artists.

Aidan’s whole thing started simple: slinging thrift finds from his parents' back house in Abita Springs while in high school. After running through flea markets and tirelessly building his collection, he made the move to New Orleans. Once storage ran out at his Lakeview home and the demand blew up, he opened the first 90s Kid's Closet storefront on Magazine Street in March 2022.

The store has become a New Orleans staple and a must-hit for young tourists passing through. It’s not uncommon for the store to attract top-tier clientele—don't be surprised if you spot NBA and NFL players grabbing a unique tee on their way to the arena. Pull up to the shop!
